The next step of the mediation process involves facilitating communication between the disputants and is known as the solution identification stage. You will need to apply all the active listening skills learned in the last module, as well as determine the underlying issue at hand. You will also be practicing your reframing skills and view mediation examples. The issue of voluntary regulation of mediation will be discussed, which is a current topic within the industry.
