| Use the AND function can help determine if the application is complete. NOTE: Sometimes when you are selecting data from different pages, the spreadsheet will also insert the dollar signs to help make cell references absolute. You will need to manually removed these if it does insert them.

Use the OR can determine if someone has either filed for bankruptcy or been denied a loan.

Use IF function to determine if there are any issues with the consistency of the credit score. Check to see if any of the scores are 10 points higher than that individual’s average.
NOTE: In general when you are entering text into an “IF” statement you have to surround it with quotes. However, there are times when, if the text in the cell you are pointing to is the result of a logical function, that the quotes are not necessary. This will be different based on the version of your spreadsheet you are using. However, the final IF statement will work. You just may have to give it a few attempts to find the correct combination.

Use the AND function to determine if an applicant has met the requirements to be preapproved for final consideration by the committee.
